XBRL Belgium concludes

After more than twenty years of activity, the association XB
RL Belgium has decided to conclude its existence.
This decision was not taken lightly. Over the years, XBRL Belgium has had the privilege of serving as a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and advocacy around the XBRL standard in Belgium. Thanks to the sustained efforts of many individuals and organizations, the Belgian jurisdiction has amply achieved the goals that motivated the creation of the association: the promotion, understanding, and adoption of XBRL.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the founders, to our members for their long-standing support and trust, to our visitors for their continued interest and engagement, and to all members of the board—past and present—for their leadership, dedication, and vision across the years. What has been built together is something to be proud of.
Although XBRL Belgium is coming to a close, the broader XBRL community continues to thrive. We strongly encourage our members to remain actively involved by becoming members of XBRL Europe, or alternatively, by becoming direct members of XBRL International.
Standards live through the people who use them, challenge them, and carry them forward. We are confident that the spirit and expertise fostered within XBRL Belgium will continue to contribute to the XBRL ecosystem well beyond this chapter. With gratitude and confidence in what comes next.
